2024 — DEUTSCHER AGENTURPREIS Category B2C Film – Promo

An independent jury evaluates and awards prizes to advertising, marketing and internet agencies that have realized particularly creative or successful projects. In 2024, 332 agencies took part in the competition and 1,378 projects were evaluated.

riba:businesstalk was awarded the DEUTSCHER AGENTURPREIS in the B2C Film – Promo category. The submitted film was commissioned by STIEBEL ELTRON, manufacturer of electrical, hot water and heating appliances. The aim was to develop an extraordinary product film that breaks with the conventions of standard product videos and showcases the special features of the STIEBEL ELTRON HOT in an original and eye-catching way. The film was supposed to stand out from the crowd of competitors, increase brand awareness and positively influence consumers’ purchasing decisions. To achieve this, the STIEBEL ELTRON HOT and its advantages were not only presented in a functional way, but also in a funny, colorful and loud way. This clearly sets it apart from the many ordinary product videos on the usual platforms and the potential buyer’s attention was successfully drawn to the product in a way that promotes sales.

2023 — DEUTSCHER AGENTURPREIS Category B2B Campaign and Documentary

An independent jury evaluates and selects advertising, marketing and internet agencies that have realized particularly creative or successful projects. In 2023, 374 agencies took part in the competition and 1,340 projects were evaluated.

riba:businesstalk was awarded the DEUTSCHER AGENTURPREIS in the B2B Campaign and Documentary category. The submitted communication campaign was implemented on behalf of the tech group Schneider Electric and aims to make a highly complex topic of automation technology – even for experts – understandable for specialists and decision-makers in all its facets. The focus is not primarily on a specific product or solution, but rather on a new approach to industrial automation. As a lighthouse project, a neutral documentary was produced with the agency’s own film team (rbt:tv). This film does not use any company-specific branding or other marketing messages. Instead, it is a deliberately neutral format that impresses with its high level of credibility and objectivity. Representatives of various professional groups who deal with the topic of automation in their own way – such as a mechanical engineer and a university professor – have their say.

2024 — Communication or PR Campaign / PR Program of the Year – Technology

An independent jury of executives and experts selects the winners.

In 2024, riba:businesstalk’s multichannel communication campaign “Universal Automation” was awarded the prestigious German Stevie Award® in Gold in the category “Communication or PR Campaign / PR Program of the Year – Technology”. The award-winning campaign and its accompanying video documentation aimed to communicate a complex automation technology topic in an understandable way and present an innovative approach to industrial automation.

The WorldMediaFestival awards are among the world’s most important honors for outstanding visual productions in the fields of television, corporate film, online and print. Only one gold and one silver award is presented in each category.

Gold — 2024 — Middle Rhine Ambassadors

A total of 764 entries from 29 nations were submitted for the 26th WorldMediaFestivals in 2025.

In the “Marketing & Promotions: Travel & Tourism” category, riba:businesstalk was awarded the “intermedia-globe-Gold-Award”. The award-winning video was produced for the “Middle Rhine Ambassadors” project by Romantic Rhine Tourism (RRT). The Middle Rhine Ambassadors are a group of 40 ambassadors consisting of tourism stakeholders such as restaurateurs, hoteliers, tour guides, winegrowers, representatives of cities, towns and municipalities as well as representatives of tourist attractions or leisure activities. The Middle Rhine ambassadors come from the entire region and thus embody the diversity of the Middle Rhine Valley. In videos, reels, podcasts and high-quality photos, they tell their stories and, in particular, their very personal “Rhine moment”.

riba:businesstalk was awarded the “intermedia-globe SILVER Award” in the “Public Relations: Brand Building & Image” category. The award-winning image video was produced for ProPlan Küchen GmbH and tells an emotional story that shows how the kitchen as the center of life shapes creativity and memories – from childhood to adulthood. The process of buying a kitchen is reinterpreted with playful parallels and innovative insights. The video presents the kitchen’s many uses, which go far beyond its actual purpose.

2024 — dtm Event Aftermovie

The dtm Aftermovie shows the unforgettable highlights of the dtm netforum 2023 in Bregenz in a captivating way. It is the crowning glory of a whole series of videos that rbt: produced before, during and after the event with the utmost professionalism and immerses the viewer in the unique atmosphere of this important two-day strategy congress.
The aftermovie is not only aimed at those interested in IT, but also inspires a broad audience from young to old. IT decision-makers and C-level executives are specifically addressed, for example, by offering exciting, brief insights into the high-caliber keynotes. The video thus serves B2B communication in an exemplary manner, while simultaneously being an excellent tool for strengthening the dtm image and is also suitable for use at recruiting events.

2023 — Video documentary “New Ways of Automation”

The documentary “New Ways of Automaton” produced by riba:businesstalk was awarded the “intermedia-globe-Silver-Award” by WorldMediaFestival. It is a documentary on a central and pressing topic in industrial automation. It deals with the question of the principles according to which industrial plants are automated. For many decades, a concept of the so-called automation pyramid built around the PLC control system prevailed. In view of modern IT technologies and high computing power in the mechatronic components of industrial plants, it is now possible to think differently about automation and replace this concept. The new paradigm envisages vendor-independent automation based on IT logic. The special thing about this is that many factors that make the implementation of flexible and sustainable industrial plants difficult or even impossible – such as proprietary control systems or a lack of interoperability between the various components – are thus eliminated.

The Top Company seal is an award presented by the employer rating platform kununu. It is awarded to companies that have received particularly good ratings from their employees on kununu. To achieve this, they must score an average of at least 3.8 out of a maximum of 5 rating points. This is a criterion that only around 5 percent of all companies in German-speaking countries fulfill.

riba:businesstalk has a rating of 4.5 points and is therefore above the average for the marketing / advertising / PR sector (3.8 points).
